Christmas Tree Decorating Contest winners announced
The Town Council of Centreville and the Centreville Park Advisory Board announced the winners of the 2020 Christmas Tree Decorating Contest: first place, Girl Scout Troop 446; second place, Day Care Inc.; and third place, Girl Scout Troop 127. Trees were decorated by Girl Scout Troop 414, Wye River Upper School, Girl Scout Troop 219, Girl Scout Troop 946, Ravens Roost #142, Girl Scout Troop 446, Girl Scout Troop 591, Day Care Inc., and Girl Scout Troop 1271.

GS Troop 446 wins Christmas tree contest '20
The Juliette Scouts of Girl Scout Troop 446 with their first place Christmas tree along Lawyers Row in historic downtown Centreville. The winning tree was judged among more than a dozen trees in the annual contest with the theme "Centreville Christmas Memories/Dreams". The top three winning trees were announced Wednesday evening, Dec. 2, during the annual Centreville Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
